These maintenance and support contracts are required due
to the following reasons:
If the above points are not addressed on an on-going basis the network will start to deteriorate over time. It for this reason alone why maintenance and support contracts are required. Also with ISDN dial up access large telephone bills can suddenly appear to the horror of the end customer. This is usually several months after the original installation of an ISDN router. The usual cause of the problem is a new PC or application being mis-configured and added to the network. It usually takes additional protocol analysis to determine the offending client, otherwise the large bills just keep on coming. |
