The new STATIC IP addressing scheme from BT with global addressing is now bringing in true low cost ADSL services. There are of course security issues with true VPN's, but the introduction of low cost CISCO PIX firewalls, is enabling End Users to consider and deploy VPN services. Ultimately true VPN's will depend on the speed of ADSL/Broadband rollout. | |
